The Village Retrospective

The Village Retrospective

Whether you’re looking to master skills, learn new frameworks, manage a team, or become better at collaborating with others, our templates should assist you on this journey. Here you can find some templates that we have designed that you can use in your Sprints to improve team communication and productivity.

By playing these simple games together, your teams may learn more about teamwork, collaboration, iterative work, forecasting, retrospectives, empirical process control, diversity and team member inclusion. In our game templates we explore various Scrum concepts such as team formation, continuous improvement, experimenting, inspect and adapt, and trust. Best of all, we encourage co-workers to learn together and enjoy the process.

The Village Retrospective Game

The Village Retrospective Game

If we do not learn from our history, we are doomed to repeat its mistakes. We encourage participants to become a member of the fictional village of Scrumlandia.

In this village, there are forces of good and evil. Your job is to help those looking to keep the forces of darkness away. You spread light and defeat vampires by speaking truth and looking for solutions.

Villagers are encouraged to share their thoughts and insights from the latest Sprint in an attempt to rid their community of those that feed on the teams’ productivity.
